DUCKS, SHOE
These are made 54-in. wide, 100 yards long, with 40 ends and 32 picks per inch, 2/12's T., 3/14's W. They must be free from faults, level and well woven. The plimsole duck is usually 131/2-oz. to 15-oz. for 54-in. cloth, made from dyed yarns, both self-coloured and grandrelle, about 36 ends and 28 picks per inch, 2/12's T., 3/13's W.
